Transfixed:

The artist confronts the online audience in this video from two places of isolated and lived realities: the first is being a Syrian asylum seeker in Chicago and the second is the mourning of his father's recent passing (an influential cultural figure in Syria and the Arab world) due to COVID-19. ​ This video was based on the artist's imagined response to the US Government and Immigration if they ever asked him to send them a video letter during quarantine to support his asylum case.
